well, ive always had a ps2 and the best game for that in my opinion is resident evil 4. its not exactly a war game, however it shares the same idea. you are battiling another group of ppl called the los illuminotos. which is a religious group that wants everyone to be infected with a plauge called the las plagas. they are trying to take over the world and turn everyone into this plauge bag. to start this, the lord of this group kidnapes the president's daughter. you must save her from getiing the disease. theres plenty of weapons and fighting. so as i said, its similer to a war game. if you dont want this, theres 007 series. have fun!!!

My favorite war game is Killzone.Great weapons and gameplay.The Call of Duty games are good also,but not so much the third one.Medal of Honor European Assault,Black,Socom Combined Assault,3,and The Brothers in Arms games are great war games.

You can't go wrong with the Medal of Honor series. They are WWII first-person shooters. My fave MoH game is MoH-Frontline.
