There are book stares all over Houston! Look up any barnes and nobel, borders, or half priced books! They all have webpages w/ locations. If you're looking for text books though the only store that will have them will be your schools book store! Or you can order them from a website like half.com.

There are no good ones on the East Side. Go to Yahoo Maps and put your zip code in. They have a catagory to search for bookstores. It is easy and you will have a map to go by.
