i have thought of a good invention and now they want me to build it but i dont have the money, is there like a manager you could hire (not a manger but something like it, like a agent) who gives you the money like a buisness partner, then you pay them back with a bit more depending on how well it sells

If you can find someone that feels that the idea is worth the investment, get an agreement. You may take it to a manufacturer and they may make a prototype with the right agreement.

Participation in the local groups is free...It's kind of a networking. My husband has used them on a number of occasions for ideas he has had. It is called an investor. And you work out the arrangement of how much you pay them - it is all according to risk- for the investor could lose all his money if your invention fails. How is he to recoup that?

The don't manage the project, they only provide the money.
And, of course, they do expect to be paid for the high risk that they take.
