As a black man, I notice white men in their 40 and up speaks to me like I'm an idiot. When I open my mouth, I let him have it. "Your barking up the wrong tree, buddy. I know more than you think I do". After an nice knowledgable conversation, I noticed that white people are extremely intrested in the mental process of urban african americans. I enjoyed my white counterparts, we are so much alike, its sickening. Thank you Emancipation Proclamation, Dr. King, The Bible, and others that let me know I am not what people make me out to be.
What your story?
Real Talk, no racism here. If you are not into the Bible or GOD, express your view but do not attack.

You just do. I'm a 20 year old mixed hispanic/italian male (who looks 100% white) and I take that stuff from all races. With whites its really a half and half thing, some expect me to be just like them while others lump me in as being lesser or lower class, meanwhile hispanics and blacks have this unnecessary anger towards me for no reason at all. They already have it in their head that I'm some "punk white boy" or something and treat me badly without even knowing me. Asians and (East/India)-Indians already have the mentality they are smarter and better than me and other people and especially indians like to make a show of it. (Just make one mistake with an Indian and see what I mean).
I don't let any race put me down or accuse me of anything. I'm my own person and I don't have to answer to anybody else's doing or expectations. I'm in college and getting a good education, not that I should say the same for most of the people who treat me like I'm an idiot.

1. I think it'll happen by 2050, but not 2020. 2. I don't really care who the majority is in the US. I just want an end to discrimination. 3. It will not be impossible for a white president to be in power. Look at South Africa. Whites make up a small percentage there, but they're the ones in control. That's how it usually works.

I'm a 26 white male and a retail manager and old f*cks constantly try to talk down to me and I let them have it too. I Think it is mostly an age thing but I can see your point. I notice that once you show them you're not an idiot and voice your opinion they take a major step back usually. I also notice that men in this age group talk down the most to young females who are often not assertive enough to come back at them like you or I.

Was it not Dr. King that he dreamed of the time when we judged the character instead of skin color?
I am not a hardcore racist but I do bring my experiences w/black people into my judgements. The first 10 words out of any race of people is instantly processed and I act according to whom I am confronted with.
I say that if you want me to respect you I had best feel that same thing back at me and the window for that oppurtunity is very very narrow and quickly closed. If I don't like the way you look at me I 'zero' you from my concerns.

Those who talk to you like that really need to get to some mental institution. I think the time, when Afro-Americans were considered as lower class of society, has passed. I'm white, but I think black people can be better, worse or equal with white guys in every stuff, it depends on person. Of course, you need to treat everyone individually, not to generalize everything. You know what you really are, don't even pay attention to some jackasses who mistreat you, they don't deserve it. ;)

you seem to be considerably violent to start with as well as too protective of yourself and your heritage. That is already a problem if you are trying to understand where you come from. Don't forget that Christianity and Islam are religions of those who helped enslaving the inhabitants of shamanistic religions. Which are of themselves no less profound then either one of the above. In Brazil, something called Kondomble, or down South. Well, anyway, don't worry about those who are trying to insult you, they are lost. I do encourage you though to explore the grounds of your past and hopefully you can arrive at some interesting conclusions. thanks.

It's likely to be only bigots who treat you like an idiot. Usually they are not worth talking to anyway.
It has never mattered to me, white, black, young, old, Muslim, Christian.. I respect all people equally, but I speak my mind.
If anyone offends me, I let them know they've offended me, but I do not reciprocate the offence.

Sometimes I have to toot my horn a little bit and let them know that I know just as much as they do. Of course, this is done in a respectable manner.

Cutedervish you totally misinterpreted what he said. I suggest you do some inner searching or better yet just proof read what you write. You seem like a very confused person.
