hi I'm 17 and I took an online iq test on tickle.com
I recieved a score of 120, what does that mean?

I tried to google what scores meant but everywhere had a diffrent view on scores. Please help me understand.

it unfortunately means absolutely nothing since tickle and the rest of those on-line tests are invalid. They even state "for entertainment purposes only".

Also, an answerer above is correct in stating that if one really is administered a legitimate I.Q. the scores would be interpreted and explained to you - therefore absolutely no need to post on Y!A asking what your I.Q. means.

Online IQ tests mean nothing. They are sources of entertainment and amusement only. The only true IQ measure can come from a qualified professional administering a standardized IQ test, like the Stanford-Binet or WISC, under standardized conditions. The score will also then be professionally interpreted for you.

My suggestion is look on the website and see what it says, or if it doesn't, take the test over on another website that shows what scores mean. Usually a 120 is an above average score.

120 would be superior intelligence. up to 140 is very superior intelligence and over 140 is genius. so your pretty smart, 90-110 is average.

this means that your eyesight is very good and that you do not need to wear glasses
