we were ALL born under some "certain star," we were all given specific names. Are you asking about Astrology? If so, then the question might have read, "what sign were you born under." Signs and Specific Stars do not have anything in common. And technically, I was born in the aftenoon, so I wasn't born under any star at all...at least one that was visable.

I was born under my grandmother's curse and named after the nurse in the delivery room. No star can get any better than that.

Well, yeah. But I don't think I'm on your wave length.

I changed from my birth name as soon as I was legally able. My mother gave all of us uncommon names, and I'd have dearly loved to have been a Mary or Jane or Patty.

I was born a Taurus, if that's what you were looking for, and I guess I am sort of bull-headed.

Not sure if I understand the question, but: I was born at midnight on Aug 19/20. I think that makes me a Leo in astrology, but I dunno what particular star was "over" me at that time.

My specific name was Jon Raleigh MXXXXX, Jr. Which is odd in that my dad is John Raleigh MXXXXX.

Some nurse tried telling my mom that if Dad was John and I was Jon that she couldn't name me Jr. My mom, still groggy from her delivery said through gritted teeth, "I can name him Elvis Presley Jr if I want to, witch."

That story is funnier if you knew what a shy, non-confrontational person my mother is.

No. Stars are balls of "burning" gas and have no bearing on our lives.
