...the magnetic field could be the "mind" of the planet, the magma and water and air it's blood, and so on...it has circulatory system, filters, food (sunlight), etc...

And could it be the "God" presence so many people seem sure of, is really just our planet's consciousness, or awareness that we "swim" around in...? When I "take in" the whole planet...it seems to me to act "alive..."
Our bodies have many microscopic lifeforms living on our surface and internally, just like the planet, and that might explain why we find "Her" beautiful, too...We are a living part of Her...Does the "Gaia" hypothesis make sense to you...?

It seems to me also that we are part of a micro-macro cosmos, but I am sure I got that idea from someone else at one time. P. Ouspensky delved into that point of view about a hundred years ago and it wasn't exactly new then. I would say the religions of the distant past evolved from those thoughts while using different terminology to describe the same ideas as far back as history goes. Modern teachers often try to complicate matters rather than simplifying them in order to feather their own nests, but it is there for all who have eyes to see.

It's nice to think about this idea, but there's no evidence that any of it is true. Gaia makes a nice metaphor to get people to think and act a little more responsibly, but without evidence that any of it is true, it's nothing more than wishful thinking.

It's OK to daydream now and then, but it's still a good idea to keep your feet on the ground.

Sure does...a dog scratches to rid itself of fleas..various cultures have always known this..is cancer inflicted upon some but not others ? Why? I kind of feel it when I nourish and replenish the soil for planting...Earthquakes,tsunamis,floods,bushfires,droughts etc not withstanding.Sure is poetic and reasonable..sometimes I hope that dawg would scratch a little harder in all the right places.O Well.
