i am off to florida on monday for ten days with my wife, we are both soccer mad irish people - does anyone know any soccer teams in the florida area, and if they may be playing? please give as much details as you can coz i know nothing about american soccer apart from beckham and ronnie o'brien!

There is a soccer team in Florida. They play in the USL, not the MLS. The USL is somewhat of a second division in the United States. Miami FC has two more home games this year. One on August 25 and the other on September 2. They are a pretty fun team to watch. Their best player is probably Eric Vasquez who used to play for the Columbus Crew in the MLS.

MLS retracted both the Tampa Bay Mutiny and Miami Fusion teams a few years back. The only current MLS related soccer info I am aware of is RSL Florida.
