that was a concept car, a badass one at that, it's probably at a daimler -chrysler headquarter or in their labratory/garage. one of the rarest car in the world is the Maybach Exelero, only one made and some european guy has it , he bought it for 8 million dollars.

This is a silly question, but it's been asked before only a week ago.
The rarest cars ever are any car of which only one was made. There are many examples.
This is obvious, but it doesn't stop people from giving other answers, like "a 1965 Mustang".

There have been a lot of one-off concept cars over the years the ME-4/12 is just one of them.

the 1930's Biguatti Type 27 Royal. As far as I know only a hand full ever existed. And only one or two are known to survive today.
