Must be the guy you're with. I support the things my wife wants to do. I like a clean house, too, but we clean it together. So, I'm not a contradiction. And I don't think most guys are, either. Every friend I can think of is pretty decent like that.

Maybe it is a habit following him from his mommy's house to you. Sometimes children are allowed to be messy since their mother always there to tidy up everything. So the children litter the house go to school when they come back they see a clean house and they litter again. It goes on this way in some families. So maybe your husband thinks that he can mess and when he comes back he can find the house cleaned. Just like his mommy's house.
He may like the "idea" of having a skinny wife but when it comes to real he may scare that you are going to be successful even attractive and he is not going to be able to do the same thing. So he can think of only one solution: scoffing you so making you give up
People always think in complex ways.

I know, like my husband is in luv wit Ciara. He thinks she is so fine. But he dont want me that skinny. Im a size 13-14(it's baby fat. I gained 60lb wit him. He is one yaer now .Ive lost 35 of it.) I tell him that I want to lose weight and he tells me no. I'm like how can u say Ciara is so fine and think I am fine also. Dont get me wrong I dont have a BMW by a long shot. I have a hour glass frame, but the 2 of us dont *** close to compare she like a size 7-9 or sumthin. With the clean house thing, Im feeling you on dat also. But its too much to even go there.

I believe it's because they never actually think things through. Individually, or together.
Couples often go into relationships with different agenda, and they never come to terms with the differences.
Nobody ever sits down before marriage with a paper explaining what they're agreeing to, expecting to recieve, expecting to give.

Well, I think it's human nature to contradict ones self. Generally we speak to what we want at the time without sitting back and looking at the big picture.

Well not all people are like that but I suppose some spouses start to take each other for granted & stop seeing them as people in their own right........

He wants to be able to snap his fingers and have instant gratification. He needs to grow up.
