My father was a 32nd degree Mason, as were both of my brothers, my uncles, etc. They were just ordinary working men, although my brothers were the ones with college educations. As to you, learn to spell English before you ask a question.

First, please use a spelling and grammar checker, your English skills need some work...

I agree with some other responses that Freemasons are not necessarily at the top of their trade.

Centuries ago when Lodges were operative masonic guilds, master masons were at the top of their craft, but as Lodges evolved into free (speculative) masons, this is no longer the case.

All freemasons I know do have a solid work ethic and sense of duty, this does help them to often be the most successful at their chosen occupation.

Regarding the notes on 32 degree, etc... in Freemasonry, the third degree is the highest. Anything higher than that is from an Appendant Body (Scottish Rite, York Rite, etc.) and all of those are subservient to the Craft Lodge. Also, in the USA, you can become a 32nd degree mason in one day; in England/Scotland, this would take 32 years, so there is a big difference based on where you come from.

Part of it is their work ethic -- a strong focus on doing a job well, which is helpful in any profession.

Part of it is social networking -- who you know is always useful for promotions.

Some will claim more esoteric explanations, but that's best asked in the religion and spirituality forum.

Well, they go to school, and learn their trade, and how to spell, and other things needed to be the best. Thank all the deities that someone still cares about being the best...
