Saving is most important in life.
Saving used for as below and normally minimun of 25% of monthly income.
1. Emergency
2. Education
3. Tours
4. Prigrim and Haj for Muslim to Mecca and Madinah.
5. Buying House and properties such as land for farming.
6. Buying car or Motor cycle
7. Hospital and Medical
8. Buying House appliance
9. The very most important saving for old age.

Im saving up for a cruise! I can only save 100.00 a month due to bills, but I am getting up there.
