S Magic trick?
yesterday a magician told me to hold a card that was a Jack of spades in my hand. I closed it tight with both hands, and saw that clearly, it was the jack of spades. he told me to back up 5 steps, and then wove his hand, then told me to look at the card. it had turned into an 8 of diamonds. can any1 tell me how he managed to do that?

ePaper ?
A flexible sheet of polymer with 2-colored liquid crystals forming an image. The crystals flip over = change color when a voltage is applied to it. The color is set with the polarity of the voltage. The image remains if the voltage is dropped.

Or you have been hypnotized.

This cannot be magic. It has to do with the card you were holding. When you looked at it in the first place it was jack of spades vut by the time you closed both your hands the card automatically repainted itself into a 8 of diamonds.

this is my theory: the heat from your hands activated ink that was already on the card, making it look like a different card. honestly, this is the only explanation, seeing as how there isn't such a thing as magic =P
