I'd expect $8/hour in any decent restaurant for a starting cook.

Minimum wage or maybe around $7 an hour. If you can work fast and are clean, you can get raises. Don't expect to get rich right away.

I live in florida they tend to make a little bit more.. than 8 to 10 hour.Panhandle area.I do agree it depends on where you are in united states.Always helps to get some experience.

It depends on where you live. I live in Iowa in a very small community and one restaurant that I know pays $7.
