So long as it's not too old and not been shelled and/or roasted, of course it will. Plant it in the spring, and give it some support.

No, store bought sunflower seeds have been soaked in salt water and roasted, therefore, the seed is dead and will not produce a flower. Only raw uncooked seeds produce plants.

if the seed has been roasted it will not do anything.the seed has been cooked.if it is a raw seed it might grow given the right conditions.if it came out of bag of Davids sunflower seeds or something like that it will not grow. because of being roasted.

If it's a black one it might but you'd need to crack the seed open and place on a damp tissue for it to germinate before you plant it.

Yes, they would grow into beatuful sunfhowers. Hopefully you did this in the spring. That is what the birds did this spring, now we have four very large sunfhowers in our garden.

well it depends if you bought them dry or fresh and unsalted
only the fresh unsalted will grow also salt will prevent anything else from growing in that spot
