3 reasons, two are acceptable. 1st is that they're the DD, a good thing. 2nd is that they might be there for the food, which is dubious at best but somewhat believable, or perhaps for trivia. 3rd is that they don't like to drink, and that makes them a WUSSY!

i dont drink!, i am boring i hate pubs and clubs, i hate talking to drunk people, i hate people sleezing, i hate coming home and smelling like a brewry, but i do sometimes like to watch people dancing!

i dont need alchohol to have fun. as long as im with the people whom i enjoy spending time with and there's music, im cool.
