My proplem is that in my friend's birthday i give them present's and say happy birthday but when my birthday come they never get a present 4 me or even a word i told my mom she told my not 2 give them any thing , i don't want 2 do that they r going 2 b sad from me so plz say what would u do if u were in my place

do they know when your birthday is? If your not sure keep mentioning it around that time. Then see whether or not your friends buy each other gifts. if they do keep buying, if they don't don't worry about it.

i was in the same situation as you are!!
however, i think that you should give them one more chance...
you still give them presents in their bday.. and if they still dont give you any present in your bday next time... then in their next bday, they will no longer recieve anything from you! if they ask why, tell them straightly, to let them know what do you feel about this whole bday present thing!
if you are concerning about they are going to be sad... then what about yourself? you also get upset about not receiving any present, aren't you?
if i were in your place, i will wait for it and if they really do this to me again, then i will be very sorry to tell them that i will never give any present to anyone again!

Maybe your mother is right. Sometimes people have to have the same experience to feel what you feel. Don't be so giving to people who obviously don't appreciate it. Let them see how it feels and maybe they will change their behavior. I know it is not about the gifts, it is about the respect of being friends. Good Luck!

Do they even know it's your birthday?
Like oftentimes with me, when my b-day come around, I take them to the mall and point out what I want, but not tell them that they should get it for me.
Just casually point it out like "Wow, that's a really nice shirt"
Stuff like that.
It always works for me.
But I think you should get them something. Don't go crazy and get them something that's worth $300, but get them something nice and thoughtful.

well, i wouldnt give them anything anymore if i were u...dont leasten to ppl that say that is not about the presents, cuz it is!!, we all love presents, and most of us, give them to recieve them...sounds bad but its true.i only give presents 2 ppl i love and ppl that will return the favor.its like a gift exchange.

Next birthday, give them an empty box and tell them you got them the same thing that they got you for your birthday. lol Just don't give them a gift any longer.

Yea thats true, Don't give them anything. If you're grumbling that you don't get anything from them on your bday then don't give them gifts on their bday.
