Before you come at Thanksgiving, you should look at the extended forecast before packing. Sometimes it can be warm in the 60's and sunny, and the next day could be snow.

3 years ago, we had the biggest snowstorm of the winter on the day before Thanksgiving. Most was melted on Tgiving Day, and it was all gone the following day.

Last year, we went to the Chiefs game Tgiving Wkend and we needed lots of layered clothes. If this is your plan, make sure you bring plenty of warm woolies to layer up in the weather. But then, you never know...

Usually pretty cold. We have been known to have snow and/or ice on the ground around thanksgiving. Definitely weather for pants and a heavy coat. Usually between 35-45 degrees. It can get a lot colder really fast. I remember one thanksgiving, my cousins were playing outside in jeans and a t-shirt and it was like 70... so it just depends -- but thats really rare here in that time of the year. Good Luck :)

i live about two hours from kansas city and its usually pretty chilly around thanksgiving. its not like snowing cold or anything (usually), but you will definately want a hoodie and maybe even a light weight coat. each year it seems to be a little different weather in missouri. hope this helps!
