Actually as long as you stay on top of the ball any of them will be ok, but coming from a former college pitcher the main thing is to make sure you do not roll your wrist and keep it on top of the ball or you will tear ur elbow to pieces (i did it myself). I threw from every arm angle and that really helped me deceive hitters, but if i were you i would concentrate on overhand (although that is the most unnatural motion for ur arm its the easiest to control and get used to) and once you master a couple of pitches from overhand start experimenting in the bullpen with some side arm/submarine. It really throws hitters off and its hard for them to pick up pitches when you continuously change speeds and arm angles. You just have to make sure you have at least 2 pitches from every angle so they cant sit on any certain pitch! Best of luck!

I actually like the 3/4 arm slot.

It's in between the overhand and sidearm positions. I believe it works well, and gives you a nice smooth motion.

I would also recommend that you do only what feels comfortable. If you are not comfortable when you throw, your are not going to have accuracy and control.

Good luck!

You should pitch over hand. Side arm and sub puts too much stress on your arm. When you pitch over hand, you should use your legs more than your arm. It wouldn't hurt to occasionally throw side arm or at a different angle. It did wonders for David Cone.

Trust your coach. If he says overhand, throw overhand. Same holds true if he says throw side arm or submarine. Best way to save your arm is only throw breaking pitches when you need to.

Definently overhand, sidearm put was to much stress on your elbow.
