Which do you prefer Public or Private schools. I know this question been asked many times, but i want to see people's full and true honest opinions on it.
Now before answering this you should consider a few things:
-When it comes to middle and high school, the school should be able to engage the student in the learning process
so they can really be prepared for college and life beyond that
-People normally answer this question and say public school are better because it trains you to handle life, by having students there with attitudes you'll meet or will have obsticles you'll out later in life. This may be true, but that doesn't mean private schools don't do that either. Some do
-Also consider the enviroment a student is in, always matters. The enviorment that surrounds the student will effect him\her greatly.
-Saftey and well instruced teachers should be considered aswell as those who need more help then others or those who fall behind.

I've done both. I was in private school until 7th grade. Then I did public school. I can honestly say both have their merits. I think when a child is a young, it pays to have a school with a smallish class and an attentive teacher. However, the mindset and structure of private schools aren't very good for free thinking. It creates clones. So I'd suggest a good public school over a private one.

if i lived in the suburbs, i would prefer public schools for my children (if i had any), because the environment isn't all sugarcoated like it is in suburban private schools, but it's still safe. and the education will be good.

if i lived in the city with children, i would send my children to those private schools that dont require children to have a certain religion, have strict rules, and dont have uniforms. the environment and education will be good, and the children will be safe without having to be in strict, preppy private schools.
xD

what do you think?

public schools.
they do help you with life when you get outside of high school bcuz its basically the same thing you dealt with in high school.
my dad went to private schools and public schools. he said the only thing he learned in private school was that people were hypocrites and had too many double standards.
thats why he put me in a public school. he refused to put me in a private school.
plus, you get more social skills in public school.

Private schools, because they have better teachers and a better learning environment. I go to one of the privatest schools of them all (a boarding school, lol).
