I spent way too long downloading a Youtube video from a website (I've got a slow connection because I live in the country), and as soon as I started to play it, my computer crashed. Could the Youtube video still be in my computer somewhere? And if so, how can I find it?

I really don't want to download the whole thing again, and have my notebook crash AGAIN.

Tried the search, my notebook crashed again.

Maybe I didn't download it? I just clicked on the "play" button, and all it did was start loading. I thought perhaps it's stuck in the temp files somewhere.

BTW, I don't know much about computers. And my computer is in Japanese, so the prompts are the same, they are just called something different. Any descriptive help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately I know very little about computers as well but I do know youtube. I think that it may still be on your computer especially if it crashed. Check all temporary files and check if it found its way into your music playlists

At the beginning of the download process, it will always allow you to specify where to download the file to on your computer. Until you learn your way around the 'tree' in your computer, always download to My Documents so you can find them later. Eventually you'll have to organize your My Documents folder.
To find a 'missing' file, click Start, Search, For Files or Folders. In the next window click Pictures, music, or video. Then click Video, click Search
.
