We read that Portugese Police have now told the McCanns "its not the right time to leave" and that "they are not suspects". But as we have already seen with Robert Morat, in Portugese law being a 'suspect' is a half way legal position prior to being charged, rather than in British Law where half the nation could be suspects until a charge is brought. Is it the right time for the McCanns to leave Portugal ?

They shouldn't have stayed so long in Portugal. We might have known the truth by now if they had went home earlier. Staying there only prolongs the truth. I hope the whole thing gets sorted and Madeleine is found soon.

Very interesting, and rather a strange thing to say to people who are not suspects, after all they could quite easily fly back for the trial of the perpetrator, couldn't they?

They will decide to leave and then at the last doors they will change their minds and stay . What a terrrible shame they didn't change their minds and just took their kids to dinner that evening .

But never mind stranger things happen at sea

I seriously think poor Maddie must be dead. She could be anywhere they should stop wasting their time. Sorry if you still had hope.
