She is the Queen of Indian tennis, but not close to becoming
top 10. The way she plays with her poor serves, inconsistent
forehand returns, stamina and will power may make her
weak. I have seen her play, even with powerful forehand and
when the opponent returns the ball, she is a step slow in
reaction time and giving away the point.
But give her the credit for making it this far.

In order for her to be in the top 10, she needs to spend more
time in the gym, build mental toughness, have a good coach
like Roche, work on her serves and agility in the court. I know
she can do it, but this needs to done with her own
consciences.

Sania cannot become a world beater in Tennis. If she had the necessary talent, she should have already reached finals or won major events like Grand Slam. She is yet to reach QF in a Grand slam yet.

Current Decade, Tennis playes reach or nears the peak in the teens and early 20s. In the mid and late 20s they might occasionaly win a major event.

Sania is already 20 and also does not possess a good service which is essential for a player. Though she is improving, and can reach & stay in Top 10 or 20s and cause a flutter by occasionaly beating top players.

Sania will surely be ON TOP someday......SHe has everything in her...except a good serve.......She adits that her backhand has improved and now is one of her strengths..though she also adds that her serve is weak...she says...she knows that her serve may never be her weapon...but she does not want it become a weakness...that's why she has been serving tremendously well enough...her first serve percentages were above 60% in most of her matches on US hard courts this year..........But is seriously feel that she should have a good second serve....or at least the one which should not be thought by opponents as a way of sneaking through the matches..........Look at her match aaginst Sharapova at Acura Classic this year......I agree that Sharpova was way above Sania's level but Sania punished Sharapova on whatever chances she got....but I think she must have won many more points against Sharpova..had she served better........he serve was only 57% in that match......

as far as injuries are concerned...SHe's much fitter now,.....a newspaper in Mumbai, India reported that she worked out for 4 hours each day at the gym (upper body workouts while on a wheel chair)........during her injury break to get her fitness on track..and that has shown in her results......She played consistently well for 4 weeks.....before finally taking a break.........and now she has returned to play again..this time at New Haven.......i think that injury helped hre to regain her fitness

If Sania could learn how to hit more than 3 balls in the court in a rally, she may have a shot at the top 10.

If she works hard enough and many tennis players retire in next few years, she might have a chance!

she wont be the best coz she gets too many injuries and also she doest have wat it takes to be the nest in the world. and the standards of tennis is just getting higher and higher she will never cope up with everyone else.therefore makin her not the best in the world. she may well be the best indian lady tennis player but not the worlds best for sure
