Recently within the past two months i've been having period after period, for example my last period ended on tuesday (it lasted 7 days) and I just got another one today, a week later. This has never happened before. I was thinking it might have to do with ovarian cysts, i'm positive i have them, and my mother had endometriosis starting at my age also. I will eventually go to the doctor but I was wondering if anyone had any idea why this is happening?? thanks

It could very well be as you said that you have an ovarian cyst or endometriosis. I would highly recommend you go see your doctor for further evaluation as they might need to send you for an ultrasound to confirm whether you indeed do have an ovarian cyst or cysts and only a gyno will be able to diagnose endometriosis by firstly taking down a detailed history of your health and symptoms and if he/she thinks you might have endometriosis they will want to do a laparoscopy to diagnose whether you have endometriosis or not. It could also be a sign of PID or an infection, but you will have to go to a doctor sooner rather than later to find out the cause and to get treated with the correct antibiotics.

Email me if you have any further questions that I might be able to help you with...

Good luck!
