Anyone else skeeved out that Walmart sells guns and toys on the same aisle? Sure it might make sense to sell sporting goods next to toys, but how about at least an aisle's worth of camping gear or hockey sticks before the gun section?
They won't sell certain CDs in the store, but guns in the toy car aisle, not a problem.

i agree. everytime i'm in that store and walk through the sporting section, my kids start drooling over bb guns and ask if they can have one. so i smack them upside their head and tell them never to ask me that again!

you must have a small walmart where you live, all 3 of the walmarts where i live have at least 3 toy aisles and 2 sporting good aisles all separated

they're all laid out differently, the one I frequent has the guns between the sporting goods and the car parts...a very good arrangement!
Since the gun counter is always manned, I don't see it as a problem...it jus means that the aisle with the most children has someone always around to keep an eye out for the kids.
But then, I tend to find the good in everything.
Silly me.

At my local Walmart, they also sell the Sewing Equipment next to the guns.
After picking new knitting needles, Granny's getting herself a 12 Gauge...

They should have a seperate section for weapons.
Guns are not toys.
