No...the greatest protector from evil couldn't be charms or amulets....Faith and trust in Jesus Christ can combat any forms of evil, fear and curses....
But I still carry around my bracelet with the image of Christ in it....also my rosary

No, people like to keep something that they think can give them certain power or protection, because they like to feel secure in a world they couldn't understand. All those things just can't help them, they only effect them psychologically in their believe. Sometimes they made them feel stronger, and they believe in them, and so on. The only protection only come from god,

They are pretty and can be imbued with a particular energy but mostly protection comes from your own spiritual shielding.
