If you want to be a professional fashion consultant then I suggest you major in something like Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or even Fine Arts. Anything that develops your sense of style, textures, and colors.
Public relations executive? You could go for something like Journalism, Political Science, Communications, and even Marketing...

For public relations, usually communications, English, or Marketing. To be a fashion consultant, there are schools which offer programs in fashion, which I assume would be the appropriate path.

Definitely check out fashion institutes like FIDM if you're interested in doing anything fashion-related. As for public relations, you'll probably want to major in communications.

There...wasn't that easy. If you go the PR route, I would suggest Media Communications studies with a specialty in PR. You'll have a lot to fall back on .
