My school is poor!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????

How can our school raise money?? We're in debt and we cannot afford anyting!!?? Please help!!!!???

Assuming your community is also poor, all of this talk of fund-raisers is useless because people in your community wouldn't have funds to give. Your best bet might be finding a corporate sponsor who could support the needs of the school.

OK, so your school is poor and needs to raise money... Guess it's a private school that charges tuition.

Waaaaaaayyyy back in the day, my school held bakesales every Sunday after church, Bingo once a week to benefit the school, and (horror of horrors), asked for handouts.

Has your school done any of these things? If not, why not suggest them to the 'powers that be'?

Nowadays, I see kids at the carwash places raising funds, I see 'runs for' _____ insert whatever you want, but there is an entrance fee, and usually you can get local biz's to pitch in.

cheerox!8746, no one gives a **** how rich you are. You are one of those people that make others think that rich people are brats.

Sell cookies, smoothies, candy, cheesecake, ice cream (during the summer), hot chocolate, roses during valentines day, and bunch of other things.

fundraisers, car washes, you can find a whole bunch of this stuff online.. look for ideas to raise money. google it.

Bake sales
Sell candy
Raise taxes in that school district.

fund-raise your butt off. Sell fruit, flowers, little gifts. Make people pay to go to sporting events and such.
