It means some other PC on your local network has the name as your PC does, to change your PC's name do right-click over My PC , then go to properties , go to Computer Name , and then change the name of your PC, in most cases this won't affect your productivity

2 reason may ,
1- your pc IP had duplicated in the network ,means that another pc have the same ip address that you have.
2-your PC name has duplicated in the network(Control panel/Systen...)

If your system is connected to one or more pc through LAN or Wireless network means one or more PC's having your name, to check that right click on my computer icon in that one click on properties and select computer name and tell them all to check the name that which ur connecting in the network.

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.

besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

Check you IP address in network.

You have same Name for another computer in the network.

R U using a wireless network? cause someone might be using it or you have two computers going to the same network. idk
