I would love to see statistics that have shown us falling behind in research. My guess is we are still leading, but others have been making advancements.

Besides Capitalism is the driving force behind most research.

I think Huckabee is a good man and I would not mind if he became President. It appears that he has no chance at this point but Bill Clinton and John Kerry were also considered long shots at one point.

I don't know much that would distinguish one member of the second tier from another (except Ron Paul). The impression I get is that they're all pretty much the same. But the one thing I have seen that distinguishes some of them said that Mike Huckabee was opposed to pardoning Scooter Libby. And I dislike that about him.

I would never vote for any candidate who doesn't believe in evolution. Seven years of the anti-science crowd has lessened our reputation around the world and caused us to fall behind in scientific research.
