I love the last two themes in the Good the Bad and Ugly, but I'm going to have to go with Frank's Theme from Once Upon a TIme in the West. It was the height of his use of leitmotif (when you have a particular theme music for each main character) and each character has their own unique one.

I love his work on the spaghetti westerns but for me his best work is the Marco Polo theme from the mini series way back in the 80s.....
