Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin never claimed to have seen UFOs on the Moon.

Not on the Moon, no.

They did see a UFO on the way to the Moon. However, please remember that UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object, not Extraterrestrial Space Vehicle. WHat they saw was something they could not identify. It was a speck of light that appeared to pulsate, and was reported to have an L-shape when viewed in the optics. Being aware of the public misunderstanding of the definition of UFO, they knew that if they reported a UFO people all over the world would be asking them about alien spaceships. They asked about the spent booster because it was a possible candidate for what they were seeing. However, it was too far away. What was not too far away and would explain the observations perfectly was one of the panels of the SLA.

The SLA is the truncated cone that covers the LM during liftoff. It is made of four panels. Once on the way to the Moon the Apollo spacecraft separates and the SLA is jetissoned, the four panels being separated by small explosive bolts. Thanks to simple physics, these panels will continue on more or less the same trajectory as the spacecraft, spreading apart slowly, and tumbling due to the separation. The outside is painted white, the inside is not. A tumbling section of a truncated cone with white on one side and dull metal on the other would indeed fit the observation very well without the need to invooke alien spacecraft.

So yes, they saw a UFO, but that does NOT mean they saw evidence of aliens.

Edwin Aldrin saw UFO when there were in the Apollo11, 6 hours after launch, not on the moon. They saw the UFO on their way to the moon. They believe they saw UFO and I believe them. They also have the video of that Unidentified Flying Object. To this day whatever it was that the crew saw, has never been officially acknowledged.

yes, yes and yes. i believe astronauts saw ufos in space and also on the surface of the moon. but theres a problem...before NASA sell any photos of the moon, they airbrush them becoz they found some like alien bases on the dark side.To make the story short. cover-ups, cover-ups and tons of conspiracy..

btw, right now, im starting to believe that the faked the apollo moon landing.. just check the link and compare the two photos taken by aldrin. the flag seems not to be waving.

Im not talking about unidentified objects like kite or etc. Im reffering to UFO's from other planets of another galaxy or Alien.

Actually, I call them IFO's now. [alien space-craft] because they are now identified and some of them had crashed on earth but government & military coverup is still present claiming UFOs as to be weather ballons. NOW THATS STUPID. do you think hte government can just deny it easily and tell the public that nothing is up there? with millions of people that actually saw it, took pictures and etc?..

And yea, dont forget Feb24,1942. Remember the 1942 los-angeles attack?.. military officials fired at UFO's, it was like a bunch of UFOs . The military claimed it to be UFO's at first. then the next day, it was published in the newspaper that it was a weather ballon.???.Over 1400 rounds of shell cant drop that weather ballon.FTW.. get outta here.:)

I don't believe either of them were ever even on the moon.

i have never heard them say they did i have heard Armstrong say he saw "something"when they were on the way to the moon in a few interviews i have heard better sightings from astronauts Gordon Copper i will post him saying it in the top video around 1/3 of the way in the video he has a amazing sighting
