They wont admit it, but most of the hatred comes from fear and cowardice.---Fear for family members in or ready to go to Iraq,--- soldiers who were willing to accept all the benefits from the military, but wanting to bug out of their war commitment, ---young people who fear the return of the draft, ---and dreamy liberals who are always opposed to any war, but they expect to be protected by some imaginary spirit.
Of course nobody wants war, but we can't stop them all by ourselves.
Just as all the people in the courtrooms are pursuing there own self interests, countries are doing the same thing.
How can we ever bring everlasting peace to the world if we can't even bring peace to our own families?
In the courts you have brothers suing and even killing brothers, parents fighting their children, murders, rapes, and robberies, etc.
But since the Jane Fonda days in the 60s, people think they can make a lot of anti-war noise and they can avoid having to stand up for their country.
They will claim it's about Bush and his policies, but in their hearts they know it's mostly fear and cowardice that is driving them.
Where is the love, peace and harmony that was promised to us by the flower smelling, pot smoking Hippies of the 60s, who caused us to bug out of Viet Nam, and cause the murder of millions of freedom loving Viet Namese people?

They will say that "Bush lied to us", but they know that's not true.--If it was he would have been impeached years ago.
People are getting wise to these bug outs, and they're becoming able to see through the Bush hatred at the cowards hiding there.

Isn't Iraq and his related illegal and immoral activities in and surrounding Iraq enough?
He has without hesitation committed violations of the US Constitution in an attempt to carry out crimes against peace, humanity, war crimes, torture and has deprived Americans and Iraqis human rights.
There are almost 200 Iraqi innocent children, women and citizens killed by DAY and a total of 3600 plus US Soldiers dead after Bush defied the US Constitution and carried out an illegal occupation.
Bush bold face lied to the UN, Congress and the American people about WMD and the need to attack Iraq.
Bush intentionally mislead Americans to believe that Iraq was responsible for 9/11.
Bush authorized civilian attacks in Iraq.
Americans civil rights continue to wither away as Bush ran a secret and illegal wiretapping operation thru the National Security Assoc.
Bush continues to promote fear in the American public by insisting the country is under attack.
Look at the body counts. Is there any more to be said?

People have really short memories when it come to politics and politicians in general - at least that is what some politicians look for. However, in this case, it is a little different. People remember the fact that when the Clintons left office, there was a huge federal surplus. Bush squandered that surplus in a very short amount of time. Where did all those hundreds of billions in raised revenue and taxes go? Hmmmm.........And now with the bridge collapse in Minnesota and the infrastructure and bridges throughout the rest of the country being brought into question, along with word that states have to NOW raise this money somehow, just to rebuild - it really adds insult to injury. HELLO?!?!?! Instead of spending billions overseas, the administration should have been spending it on rebuilding bridges and preventing tragedies like the one in Minnesota. And to now say that we have to raise NEW taxes for the bridges??? It is really outrageous.

And these two issues, raising revenue through taxes and what the government spends it on, are just two glaring issues among many.

In the end, it makes Bush look more like a Roman Emperor (along the lines of the entirely corrupted and incompetent Emperor Commodus) than a United States President.

And then there is the Clean Air Act. A wonderful work in progress that aimed to keep our skies pollution free. A byproduct of this would have been to protect and insure the health and well being of millions of Americans. Bush worked toward striking this act down and it took the courts to prevent him from doing so.

In issue after issue, you see wonderful things being done and then the Bush administration coming along and working against the efforts of many caring and dedicated people. When you see that cartoon of Rove leaving Washinton D.C. in ruins, and saying, "Well, all in a days work.", the cartoonist and those against the Bush administration aren't kidding!!!! Now, after time, word of mouth spreads among the general populace and the result translates into severely low ratings for Bush and Company. Debacle after debacle has led to the current mess. It is amazing that impeachment proceedings or at least censure of the current President hasn't yet come to fruition. The last few "core" supporters of Bush would probably also go against Bush if they could just wake up and realize they now live on a sinking ship in a sea of grief. Grief created and maintained by Bush and his administration. Grief is probably the best operative word to describe the Bush Presidency and the last 6 and a half years or so.

and that's why people do not like Bush, Iame Cakes

Why do so many conservatives assume that other people "hate" Bush? Is it because they did and do hate the Clintons and want to believe that other people are as small in mind and heart as themselves?

I might like W as a neighbor, although I would always think of him as pretty thick and a little too smug.

But I don't have to hate him to think he's woefully inept, to believe that he holds the Constitution in contempt, or to know that he has repeatedly shafted military service members.

I dont hate bush, I think he is absolutely hilarious, If you really listen to him talk, some of the things he says are gut busting. BUT he is not fit to run a country. Any guy that fails government twice in college isnt exactly president material to me. He is trying bless his heart, but he is not genuinely gifted with the ability to lead others like past presidents have been.

They hate him for: drawing troops away from the real terrorist in Afghanistan and lying to us about Iraq, refusing to cooperate with other nations to stop climate change, politicizing the DoJ and other federal institutions, confining schools and students even more (No Child Left Behind), giving our bloated military even more money while still keeping military personnel pay low, and many many more things.

I love this: GOP="Got Ours" (and screw everyone else) Party

Have you ever had a brother sent to war? It's horrible. 7 months, never knowing quite where he was, not knowing when he was going to come home. yet, he wants to send more troops, devestate more families, kill more soliders. I'm one of the lucky ones. My brother came home. How many other people will not be able to say that?

I think he has done MAJOR damage for our reputation around the world, alienating our allies, which could be potentially devastating should China and Russia get it in their heads to attack.

Our economy is in shambles as well. ANYONE who says this is false needs to take a closer look at the housing market.
