Your spouse is hundreds of miles from you, having an affair. As he/she reaches climax you experience rise in body temp, eratic heart palpitations. At the moment he/she reaches orgasim so do you. But you go into cardiac arrest. No one is around to revive you, but then suddenly and mysteriously you "self revive" and all your bodly functions return to normal. And perhaps you can scense that each time this happens the nearer to death you come (no pun intended). Science Fiction? Maybe. I'm researching the possiblities. What would be a good name for this phenomenon? Just need help Brain-Storming!!!

You woudl call it EBC: particularly super twist of fate. Your important different having an affair 1000's of miles away won't reason you to have an orgasm or heart attack. there is not any concept that makes it possible for something remotely like this.

You woudl call it EBC: Extremely Big Coincidence. Your spouse having an affair hundreds of miles away will not cause you to have an orgasm or heart attack. There is no principle that allows for anything remotely like this.

Reminds me of seperated twins experiencing simultaneous reactions even though they have different backgrounds & economic status. Maybe that will help you somehow. Hope you are writing a book because the theory is a great set-up.

If this is pure conjecture then you could call it Synchronous Stimulation. It also sounds a little like some of the phenomena we hear about in Quantum Mechanics, so you could call it Quantum Stimulation.

I've heard of things like that, well not exactly that, happening to twins. There is a follow up question, but I'm not going to ask the obvious.
