Left path: The path less traveled by, your known by all, and have total independece. Ability to make great changes the world has never seen, be looked at as an angel or devil. Your power is endless. You are totally emotionless and nothing means a thing (people, friends, life) exept to see how much change you can bring for good or worse. Your presence and actions will have and everlasting affect on the world or existence it self. You are nothing short of a god, and believe you are neither evil or good, since emotions do not exist and life has no true meaning.

Right Path: The perfect life as seen from the world. Have a high paying job, a loving family, and not a care in the world. Interact with people and have nothing but good experiences. You embrace your emotions and live for every day. At the end you dont fear death because you have enjoyed your life so dearley. But when death comes you will be forgotten and erased from existence. You have become nothing.

Left Path where I can do the most good unselfishly. Having no emotions would equal no attachment to my goodness.
All for the good of it and nothing for reward.

i would take the left path because it would be the ultimate sacrifice.
to be the structure for which others can play inside, without ever getting to play yourself and not even knowing why you are there.
i supposed at least then
i would feel as though i had been built for a purpose and even though i couldnt feel happy at that
i would know so and simply be

"the happiest person in the world is the one who understands nothing"- ignorance is bliss

Somewhere in between man
I don't see much traveling if I'm void of emotion
my inner calling is to always do good, keep my intense natural emotional range.
My friends are my family, deep spirituality gives me meaning in life, hey--I'll keep the high-paying job as long as it doesn't ever take my passions away for living my life to the fullest

the path on the right....because as u mentioned...the path on ur left is driven by power....the core of it is about power....and in the world right now....power is what drives people to do bad things....to make war....to let their pride over rule their proper judgement....i would not want to ever compare myself to a God ..... also, being that powerful would bring more harm then greatness... as it is proven in our reality......in our world now...people who would choose that road would be selfish to do so because they are only thinking about themselves and the power they have rather then the path of destruction they are leaving behind with this power....it may give you the ability to make great changes....but when that ability is given to the average man.... it can get out of control.....therefore....it is better to take the other path because its a win/win situation.....ur still extrememly happy and you're getting everything you want.....u don't need the luxury of power to have a great life......and in the end i'd rather live my life without hurting anyone and who cares if im forgotten because i had a great life.....thats wat matters.....instead of being remembered for power.....not worth it....being remembered is a gift...but it should be done on your own will ...not the boost or help of "power"..... thats not what drives you to be remembered.....its wat you do with urself....

Well I seem to have barreled straight down the middle between the two; limitless power is enticing for myself, though I find it repugnant to use power to control others. Also, I really don't care if I'm remembered after I die. But if I had to choose between the two, I'd veer to the left along with the other transhumanists.

May I please take the middle path? I do not believe in being bound by either extremes consistently.
