Rock em ONLY if you can strut. If you're gonna be teetering around don't bother, it's so frustrating having to walk behind someone who is tiptoeing around in heels. Bring some flats in case your feet get sore.

I'm out of high school and I NEVER wore heels (and still don't) unless it was a special occassion. My school was very casual among the student population. It just never made sense as we had 3 minutes between classes and I would have to take them off anyways for P.E. or Marching Band. Plus, having to walk to and from class a lot...ugh..no way.
Not to mention, heels can be BAD for your back, feet, and ankles. People who wear heels all the time tend have problems with majorly shortened muscles in their ankle, making wearing any type of non-dress shoe very painful. If you have heels on, your balance gets knocked off, which can cause problems for your lower back. Then there's all the inevitable embarrassing moments if your heel breaks.
That being said, if you want to wear heels, be careful. I'd alternate between wearing the heels and regular shoes so that you can comfortably wear both. I'd strongly recommend a low heeled dress shoe with a thick heel. It would look cute with a pair of jeans that have a bit of a flare at the bottom (bootcut for example), yet would provide more stability than a stilleto type of shoe.

Yeah, I do it all the time. But if it's the first week at a new school, it's a nono. Wait until you get the hang of where you're going. I'm a sophomore, and I know where EVERYTHING is, so I'm wearing some on the second day (if you saw the outfit, you would, too.) It's totally fine, just wear them on a day where you don't have to do much walking. I don't know about you, but I have a block schedule, with A days and B days, where we go to different classes, and on A days, I had to spend most of the day on the 3rd floor, but on B days, I went from the 1st to the 3rd and back again in consecutive classes. Naturally, heels on B days are out. And always bring comfy shoes and stow them away somewhere.

It's always cool to wear heels at school. Just make sure they fit well and don't hurt too much and they go with your outfit (usually does work with jeans and cute top) and you can walk correctly in heels. Remember, don't look at the ground, heel then toe on each step, decent-sized steps, shoulders back DON'T lean forward. I like to wear heels to school because they look so sexy, and I know I don't have to walk much, just between classes and in the lunch line. Beware of blisters, too. Plus, if they're absolutely killing you, slip them off, or just part of the way off once you're in a desk. Just watch out for foot odor, that kills the sexyness.

I don't see why it would be a problem to wear them in school. Also, it all depends on if you'll be comfortable walking in heels the whole day. But if that's not a problem, I say go for it =]

i wore 4 to 5 inch heels almost every day when i was in high school. they're hot. you HAVE to be able to walk in them though. there is nothing worse than a girl that can't walk in heels.

NOT if you're like 14, then it's tacky.. If you're like 17 or so it's okay, but if your school is really casual like mine.. It would look weird. Who do you need to impress at school for 7 hours? I find it a little annoying.
