Have the Democrats in Congress done anything they said they would?

They couldn't get anything done...they tied all their little promises to the military budget....otherwise nothing would have gotten done...and as far as the min. wage.....toss a bone to the masses and they will follow....Are the poor any better because of it...maybe they can now buy that extra loaf of bread...lol...pitiful.

Well, I am disappointed that they signed Bush on to more Constitutional trampling, without even a fight.

Other than that, they did get the minimum wage increase going, finally, but many other initiatives are blocked. Notice how Bush didn't even need to say the word "veto" before the 2006 election. Now he has had to utter that threat several times, and in addition, actually veto a few common sense pieces of legislation (stem cell research -- what an effin monkey he is to stand in the way of science - yes, I do know that it only involves governmental funds, but still, it's the point).

They have done, or tried to do, just about everything they promised.
Might I suggest doing some research, and finding out who holds the veto power preventing them from doing the others.
Then realize that it isn't just a coincidence that the republicans in Congress have about the same low approval rating as Bush.

They raised the minimum wage. I'm sure they have done a few more things. Everything else has been blocked by Republicans or Bush.

For example, the stem cell research bill, veteoed twice by Bush.
