i want to work in the food industry..preferably hostessing. Have you had any good/bad experiences at restaraunts? I'm putting in applications next week and i want to know which ones to really go for and which to avoid.

With your bubbly personality, you should be in a very equsite type resturaunt, earning a good wage, and most of them pay more than minimum wage. If you are over 21, you can get a job in a really nice place...be sure to go to one that is a top notch resturaunt, and look as sharp as you can..you should be fine!

Hostessing is hard work and it does not pay well. You might look at options including culinary arts at a place like Job Corp. This is a federally funded job training program that provides people 16-24 with free dormitory housing, food, medical, education, job training, and a small allowance. You have the chance to be on your own in a college-like environment. There are many very reasonable rules and not everyone completes the program.

You should go to a Starbucks. You can get a career there.
