The Trinity, the Trinitarian movement, as well as the Christian belief, being foretold afore time is hardly suprising it has existed from time immemorial.
There are adequate testimonials of various prototypes of Trinitarian movements before Christ, and in many respects, perhaps, there never ever will be ever again such a profound amen to what Christ did in terms of both psychology and sociology, genialogy as well as understanding.
Governments in all their various branches, are purely and simply a humble way, humans as a heard animal organize themselves. We are for want of a better way grouped, for want of a better description culturally into a world as a space ship orbiting through space at millions of miles an hour around a star called the Sun.
Perhaps it would be naive to say the world is not already totalitarian, and the abundance of conspiracy groups demanding an end to a one world government, would fail to acknowledge the United Nations trying to prevent war, although this was its origional purpose, later such issues as climate change and the world bank trying to make poverty history along with the World Health Organization and a pleathera of Quango, ie Quarzy semi official government organizations, in no way go towards answering the question better, as, what effect, for example has Christ Jesus had in preordaining the world organization particularly in a religious sense where a separation of powers between church and state exist?
Further, are the citizens in a Trinitarian quazi type government allowed to think freely and is it a police state the way thought police exist where hostile takeovers have occured in non christian countries?
Fact is it is a reality Christ Jesus, was the supreme psychologist of all time, that we are scarcely 2000 years on barely scratching the surface on the profound nature of his teachings, and so why three in a trinity, God only knows! Do you think I am going to play God?
What I do know from a limited study in the liberal arts and sciences it the idea of odd numbers challenging the universe is profoundly significant, even in life, usually harmonized by even numbers, significance exist, so why three?
When you look in organizational management theory three is the most distructive number to have. For example the principal of a firm psychologically is likey to have three deputy managers with the power shared to cause conspiracies against them to fail.
Even in rally driving. When teams are needed to arrive at a destination of high intesity driving through roads better used for grazing goats full of ruts and mud, three drivers, or a driver a navigator, and resting driver getting rest, rarely finish, in rallies even two, a partnership, often are the most successful because, where as two folk gang up with plans as a politics on the other one, even with four, the most harmonious number, it weighs too much consumes more fuel and the drivers where two folk can go faster over longer distances on less fuel.
Good government having three levels is only based on anti corruption, the idea of conspiracies can have the prevention of a centralization of power is neither here nor there, in a world where democratic dictatorship exists in accordance to media barrens who do we think we are kidding, are we not told to vote a certain way in accordance to deals done on this image or that?
So, to compare God, as a spiritual entitiy within us, even as a Christian, to say the failings of man as an organized entity failing to fulfill even the slightest promise of living up to Gods will as a devine unerring infallible grace, is setting ourselves up for either a hostile takeover from religions akin to Soddem and Gamora or failing to obey God's fundamental principle Christ gave as ample instruction before leaving. That you love one another as Christ loved us. Love in all its wonderment is about forgiveness, most especially those who would hate us, and preventing the failure of telling folk what to do so they rebell but being a gentle but bold soul leading from the front by example. The bible, the ultimate source of God's truth by its very example has the forgotten trinity as a hero, yet in a modern world we have a deluded denial that somehow does not exist. A balanced approach to faith where extremism is not responsible for folk rebelling being driven away by ugliness is as much a gift of God's Grace and understanding as spending hours in a building called church, having discipleship, or even failing to acknowledge the paraclete, its presence, leadership or power as foretold aforehand in the bible. Show me ten nations not rewarding the holy spirit or acknowledging Gods love grace peace and understanding and I will show you ten corrupt governments?
In closing, one remark, who are we as Christians to tell anyone what government to have when we have a forgotten trinity somewhere anywhere in the global community either unacknowledged or unrewarded or undeserving of reward.
What focus do we prioritize if we fail to use wisely what we already have in a gready selfish way if we fail to be purposeful in accordance with the bible and what examples it sets, is it fair or reasonable to tell any other religion how to live where God's Grace is not an evidenced living example as a blessing not a God Given Right?

It is probably a very bad prototype for government.
The Godhead, the Father, is all knowing and to be strictly obeyed. This is a very authoritarian model. It is in fact the model in almost all Islamic countries and it works out terribly.
God the Son will come in Glory to Judge the Living and the Dead. While this is a God of Mercy, mercy as a practical matter leads to lack of accountability and corruption. You need only look at many of the less developed socialist societies to see how bad systemic mercy damages an economy. Further, if this giver of Mercy is the Judge of the Living and the Dead, it also means tremendous power devolves to the mercy bringer not only increasing the corruption but more importantly increasing the degree of authoritarian rule.
God the Holy Spirit may be the most dangerous part. For that implies that government actively intervenes in people lives. That has been tried under communism and socialism. It has been a disaster ever since. Governments only have access to public information, while the people have access to private information as well as the public. Government interventions fail because of the information asymmetry. Government intervention is only prudent in a very specific class of problems, such as the "problem of the commons" where the public information and the private information set are equal.
The reason America is losing the Iraq war is information asymmetry. The American army has all of the public data available, but lacks the private data necessary to fight a war against insurgents. When armies fight armies, it is a public information gatherer vs a public information gatherer. Private information is information like who really supports who, who really has weapons, who is really friends with whom and so forth. The army cannot find people who dissolve into the background, but the army is easy to find because "they are the ones who are not us."
The Trinity is a disasterous model of government. It probably was a good idea for a Levantine society in the iron age, but it should be left there.

* In America you can claim 3 levels for human government...
1) The administration
2) The house and senate
3) The judiciary
it seems #1 can declare war, and change the law through the incramental "under the radar" S.P.P. (just one level)
* France once had a trinitarian government of "3 Estates" ... until they copied the US Revolution, killing off #1, and imasculating #2. to become an all powerful #3 (just one level) ...
1) Upper Class
2) Priests
3) Lower Classes
The press called itself the "4th Estate" (a name I copied in high school for the student newspaper, of which i was editor.
In Canada, where I live, we also have a TV News-magazine that calls itself "The 5th estate", taking the old French model a step further.
.
* In Canada, if you look for a trinity, you could see our trio as...
1) An elected parliament (including our Prime Minister's administration) that really has ALL power. (just one level)
2) An appointed Senate (weak "helpers")
3) The judiciary ("like USA, too often over-rules the decisions of our elected representatives in parliament...they hold all the "trump" cards!)
We do not have a counter-balancing administration, like the USA.
Even our two "houses" of Parliament are NOT equal...the appointed Senate is mostly ex-M.P.'s, helping our elected Members of THE "House of Parliament".
All members of the Canadian "Administration" have to be elected members of Parliament too! The Prime Minister is a working M.P., not a figure head like the USA's president (the Queen is our ceremonial, powerless figure head)
