Nancy Pelosi says a lot of things. Don't count on them kicking Jefferson out until he's convicted. This whole mess with Jefferson is a complete contradiction to their whole culture of corruption campaign.

Nancy Pelosi didn't elect him, and there isn't much that can be done until he is found guilty by trial.
just because he looks guilty, doesn't mean punishment can be handed out without a trial. sorry, but this is still America, and we still have a Constitution, even though you disagree with it.
You can be sure, his goose is cooked, but Bush appointed the head of the Justice department, this is something you should probably talk to Gonzo about. Gonzo is probably keeping this case as a spade to save his own skin, or waiting closer to election time so its going nice and strong in the media while we are headed to the polls.
By all means, email congress and demand a speedy trial.

Have you heard of "Safe Seats" which means the district voting boundaries are drawn just right to enable the incumbent party to remain in power, no matter how bad they are. Reports are that out of 435 seats in congress only 23 are not safe seats.

Because he is a Democrat. If he were a Republican he would already be in prison.
Yes he is innocent until proven guilty, but he can still be fired without being found guilty. Like I said republican leadership would have forced a resignation.
