Hi Rena,

Yes, I do though I don't know how long it will take!

I believe that if we follow the call of our soul, we will find that beyond the darkness and the shadows there is illumination and the darkness gives way to light and truth that is your soul in progress.

In his book Soul Development, Edgar Cayce (the sleeping prophet as he is called) put forward that it isn’t what has happened to you in life but how you deal with it that decides on whether your soul progresses. His advice is: to be patient, kind, long-suffering and selfless and to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Our soul purpose, he says, is to bring a sense of heaven or godliness here on earth. He doesn’t see suffering as sin but as a stepping stone: our difficulties are processes we must go through to become more ‘godlike’. Meditation and prayer is his suggested method of attunement to higher vibrations. ‘Whatever the mind dwells upon, whether in meditation or by constant thought, becomes a greater portion of the individual’.

I do however believe there has to be 'goodness' in the soul and a desire to reach the sublimest of heights in the first place. Perhaps there are malevalont souls too that don't want to progress.

Don't know anything about souls. I just reckon it's all in the mind, so the mind can deal with it. It usually digs the pits, so it ought to be able to find its way out - and have enough sense to scale whatever heights it can handle, without getting vertigo. But that takes some years to learn.

Do you mean spiritual soul or physical?
Either way yes. By making right decisions the better you are off, spiritually and physically.
Life is highway. Sometimes we get on the wrong roads, in an attempt to reach a new designation.

Yes. I have traveled a million miles from where I started. In all my hopes & dreams I never believed I could make it this far. But I did not make it on my own, no one ever does. My Mentor always told me "If you can concieve it, you can achieve it, there is no other reason for the desire".

No. If there were such a thing as "souls" in this mortal existence they'd be down in the slime pits with the rest or us.

Yes. Definitely. And back down the drain also. Ups and downs. The trick is to be able to enjoy to the fullest when it is up, and remind yourself it will go up again when it is down.
Easier said than done of course...
