I have been told that ionized, alkaline water helps neutralize the body and helps flush excess acids from the body, which will help high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, headaches, and many other ailments caused by excess acids! There are a lot of short movies and articles on the source website listed below. Clean water is no longer the best technology available with water. It is time that Americans learn what the Japanese and Koreans have known for over 20 years!

Drink plenty of water. Often a headache is from being a little dehydrated. Try some breathing exercises too to make sure you're getting enough oxygen. Breath so that your stomach pops out a bit. This gets air to the bottom of your lungs and can help a headache as well as reduce stress which can cause it too.

Headaches can be caused by a variety of things.
Dehydration headaches are cured by drinking water.
Overtired headaches are cured by sleep.
Stress/tension headaches can be cured by massage, meditation etc.
Lavender oil or vinegar on a cloth on the forehead were remedies from the 1800's.
Sinus headaches can be relieved by gentle massage or tapping on the sinuses.
Hope that helps!

Heated wheat bags and eyebrow massage.
Using middle fingers to apply pressure, push the brows towards the temple, this is good for sinus headaches. Look for sore areas these are often a key to unlocking the pains, and drink plenty of water of course.

I have one small thing to add because most of the answers you have so far are ALL very good!
There is a pressure point between your thumb and index finger if you squeeze it pretty hard (works better if you have someone do it for you) it makes your headache go away instantly, however it only works temporarily in most cases.

Nikken has some great products that can help with headaches, including their sleep system and PiMag water.
However, I would definitely try out their necklace. It's really pretty- people won't even know that it's magnetic or meant to help your headaches! Check it out by following the link below. I know a girl that stopped having migraines when she wore it!

a cold pack at the base of the skull, back of head, sides of head, and forehead works pretty well. Wherever the pain is focused using cold therapy will help to reduce inflammation. It may not work for all headaches but it feels very nice to cool things off.

Schedule a visit with your friendly neighborhood massage therapist for a headache massage. You'll be in and out in less than 20 minutes and you'll feel great too.
