Cormac McCarthy is a pretentious asshat. Why doesn't he use quotes for dialogue? Why?! I think it's just to make it harder to read. Damn summer reading...

I learned that no matter how long you marinate turkey breast is is just not going to absorb the flavor.
It tasted good but when I use the same marinade on beef or pork it is out of this world.

I learned that food grabbed from the fast food drive thru and eaten on the run gives you a tummy ache. I choose not to name the fast food drive thru though.

I'm learning how to use the pic. edit programs on this machine... which may not sound like much to you younger ppl, but it's a major for me.
