Although some couples abstain throughout pregnancy, most have sex at some time, and many couples go on through pregnancy with wild abandon. This is only between the two of you—what is right is what works for you as a couple. The only guidelines have to do with safety and comfort.

The guidelines:

-All sexual activities that don’t hurt you are considered safe, with the exception of blowing air into the vagina, which can allow the air to get into your bloodstream—a potentially fatal situation.

-Beyond about 18 weeks, the woman shouldn’t lie flat on her back for long periods of time, as the weight of the uterus can interfere with circulation and the flow of blood to the baby. However, if you just put a pillow under your right hip and tip yourself to the left, your circulation should be fine.

-Late in pregnancy your tummy may get in the way, and you will need to choose positions that feel comfortable. Try side-lying or “doggy style” with the man behind, or any position in which the woman is on top.

Generally if you are having any bleeding or are at risk for delivering prematurely, you may be advised to abstain from intercourse and/or from orgasm. If you are having any complications of pregnancy, be sure to check with your doctor or midwife to see which aspects of sex are OK.

If you are asking is it safe to have sex while pregnant. Yes, but only if you do not have a high risk pregnancy. And if the woman has histories of miscarriages then sex should not happen atleast during the first trimester. Also, deep penatration should not happen, the best position is for the guy to be on top or laying toward eachother to avoid it. Don't be shocked if a little blood appears after intercourse as long as its just spotting you're safe, but if its blood like your menastraul cycle you should call your doctor.

You have had a lot of questions on pregnancy, first off if you are pregnant then you need to see a ob-gyn now. They can answer all your questions. Sex during pregnancy is safe but if you or your partner have any sex ally transmitted disease then you need to ask the Dr first.

Either way doesn't matter. You can be sexually active during pregnancy as you would be if you weren't unless your doctor tells you that you shouldn't. There's no point in using a condom, so you might as well skip it and enjoy yourself as long as you know neither of you have any STD's.

Unprotected sex if you are married or plan to spend the rest of your life with your partner. Protected sex if you feel that he may cheat on you or you may cheat on him.
