Other than dedicated Marxist/Socialists, the impoverished are the only ones who will vote for all the anti-American Constitution Government give-aways.
That is why the Democrats work so hard to make SURE the poor stay that way. The poor are their voting BASE.
The Right wants them to progress so they have something they want to KEEP!

The difference between the liberals and the rethugs is that the liberals try to do something about poverty and social malaise and the rethuglicans think that it's their GOD-ordained right to not personally have to worry about poverty in any form or fashion. Look at what they did with the new bankruptcy bill and the new credit card payments bill. Those certainly aren't going to help poor people. They're going to help the huge corporations that are paying your precious Rethuglican politicians.
No heart. No soul. No conscience. And they all believe that God made them superior and THAT'S why they have all the money they do. The poverty-stricken are BAD PEOPLE that GOD is shunning. It's really sick, these beliefs.
