Put the transfer case in nuetral and you will be ok. this completely disengauges the driveshafts from the transmission, but remember it will roll if not chained or the parking brake isnt set

Can you put the transfer case in neutral? That is usually allowable, but putting transmissions in neutral isn't. I certainly am not recommending that you avoid reading your owner's manual.

Your taking some automobile dolley.... Yeah, you're able to do it in case you place the pass case in 2 wheel extreme and the transmission in impartial. i would not pass over 50MPH and take it uncomplicated in braking situations. have you ever towed a automobile previously? in case you haven't any longer, spend the money at Uhaul for a automobile trailer. sturdy success.

put the transfer case in neutral, then tow it backwards.
If it is a manual trans ,tow it either way, but auto trans should always be towed backwards.
The tow driver knows how.
Also, he can put it on dollys, then there is no wear on any parts.
