I think your right with John Taylor. If Jerry Rice never played with him he would have a starting job and be a shoe in for the hall of fame. Jerry Rice is better but put John Taylor on any other team and he would most definitely have a starting wide receiver job for sure.

I agree. Most people don't even remember Taylor caught the winning touchdown in the SB against the Bengals in 89. He was overshadowed by Rice, but the Niners had many players that way.

Another good example would be Tom Rathman. Because Walsh never emphasized the run game or protection, he did not put up monster numbers, but growing up I cannot count the number of times he carried 4-5 CowGirls or DeadSkins into the End Zone.

I don;t agree with the first guy Barry was one of the best ever...But if I had to pick 1 it could be Reggie White always overshadowed by Farve...And Marshall Faulk that boy can run also Terrell Davis every 1 thinks Elway and forget about Davis...

Tom Nalen. How many centers do you know in NFL history that have/are considered for the Hall Of Fame.

I'd say Ray Guy, former Punter for the Raiders and the first guy I think of when I hear the phrase, "He should be in the Hall of Fame".
