Yes, I think people should be responsible for where they put their gum..
School starts for my kids tomorrow and my two youngest were talking about not being able to chew gum in school...my oldest was telling them that they could - if they just learned to hide it from the teachers. :)
I then explained to them all how my 7th grade Language Arts teacher absolutely HATED watermelon Bubbilicious gum - she could smell it from a mile away.....I, of course, got in trouble all the time for having this gum in her class as it was my favorite gum back then.....so the last day of 7th grade.....I got a pack for everyone in my class - the boys put their packs in their pockets - the girls put it in their purses - she walked into the room...literally about gagged - she asked for the person who had the watermelon gum to stand up - thinking NO ONE was going to admit to it.....the ENTIRE class stood up and she laughed so hard she had to leave the room....it was hysterical!

This sounds like one of those questions on how to be more green , if everyone were forced to swallow the gum perhaps they would begin to fart balloons which could be released into the upper atmosphere where they would pop and displace the greenhouse gases now destroying our ozone layer , thus saving the world from catastrophe .
Buy gum that's my story and I"m sticking with it .

Yes. I propose that any gum criminal that is caught in the act have the gum removed from the sidewalk, or where ever it was placed, and have it stuck in their hair. That'll teach 'em!
