then we can say that at any point in the universe we are at the absolute centre?
i.e the earth is in the centre of the universe and so is the whirlpool galaxy (ehich is very very far from earth)

If the universe is infinite, that means that there is no beginning or end because that would be putting finite limits on the universe. Therefore, because a centre point is defined as the point exactly between two existing points, and there is no beginning or end that exists, there is no definable centre of the universe.

If the universe is infinite, "center" has no meaning. It turns out that even if the universe is finite it has no center.

Perhaps it's better to say that an infinite universe has no center.
