ive heard it tastes like the milk in the bowl after eating frosted flakes...sweetlike

It's OK to taste your milk, ladies. As you can see, lots of us have done it. It's sweet. I agree with the Frosted Flakes statement.

I was once at a breastfeeding support group, and one mother mentioned how nasty formula tasted. She wondered aloud how breastmilk tasted. Almost every nursing mother in the room had tasted her own milk. I wouldn't use it to make cafe au lait, but tasting isn't weird.

depends on what mom eats. If the mom eats sweet stuff then the milk gets very sweet but if she eats a lot of sour stuff it can get sour in flavor (most babies hate that) but I have heard that if you eat spicy foods there is a spicy flavor too it (but i don't eat spicy so i dont' know).

Ha ha I've always wondered this too but I'm not about to taste my own breastmilk!!

sweet, milky. Not too creamy, surprisingly. I suppose a baby likes it alot, but its nothing to get excited about!
